Introducing a New HealthSpring Offering: The Neck & Scalp Treatment
Written by Erinne Adachi (Dr.Acu.) & Mr. Paul Adachi (RMT)
Headaches and poor sleep are multi-faceted issues with a vast array of potential causes. Some of those root causes are complex, but it’s estimated that 40% of people suffer simply as a result of tension in the musculature of the upper body—the neck and head in particular. That tension is a problem that can be addressed directly and effectively through a massage that targets with precision the muscles most affecting the head. With that in mind, Paul Adachi, RMT has spent the past year studying the intricacies of the neck and scalp while practicing new techniques, and he is now ready to launch a new and unique treatment.
Relieve headaches and improve sleep.
Inspired by a popular Japanese sleep treatment, this 60-minute protocol focuses strictly on releasing tense musculature of the upper shoulders, neck, and scalp, with the option to also add the face. This massage optimizes muscular function and blood circulation while regulating the nervous system as you relax into a parasympathetic state. The result? Relief, along with reduced headaches and brain fog, as well as improved sleep quality and quantity. You’ll leave the clinic feeling rejuvenated and serene.
This treatment is offered exclusively by Paul, our most senior RMT here at HealthSpring. He is a natural fit for this style of treatment, which is enhanced by his calm nature and quiet tendencies.
